ESR30 Educational Program

The ESR30 Educational Program is a first-of-its-kind, beverage industry-specific sustainability program offering live virtual courses on key ESG topics relevant to the sector.

Delivered by experienced specialists, the courses cover net-zero strategy, emissions reduction, energy and water efficiency, waste management, sustainable procurement and packaging, with a strong focus on practical tools, case studies and actions that participants can apply within their own operations.

Courses are tailored to both operational and management teams, using real-world examples and manufacturing-specific content to support practical application across beverage businesses.

ESR30 Full Program

The Environmental Sustainability Roadmap to 2030 (ESR30) is an initiative developed by the ABCL to assist members of all sizes:

• measure their environmental impact,
• enact sustainable changes and
• communicate these wins to consumers and customers.

ESR30 is centred around the five sustainability focus areas most essential to beverages: emissions, packaging, water, waste and supply chain. Each focus area has interim and stretch targets that participants can work towards within their business’s operations.

ESR30 has been designed to support businesses of all sizes and will include access to reporting software, webinars, training, supplier discounts and grant support via a secure website. This is a commitment made by each signatory to work towards meeting the targets both individually and collectively as an industry. Data from these activities will support our communications and advocacy work to showcase our industry’s progress towards reducing its environmental footprint.
