From idyllic orchards to dairy farms, cane fields to vegetable farms, the non-alcoholic beverage industry is a unique partnership between regional Australia and its metropolitan centres. The industry relies on quality Australian produce and expertise right across the supply chain.

Across the nation, the Australian non-alcoholic beverage industry is a key contributor to local, state and national economies and every community.

Our industry is a significant employer with approximately 50,000 people directly employed. Every one job in beverage manufacturing supports 4.9 jobs elsewhere in the supply chain. Our Member companies contribute in excess of $7billion to the Australian economy and collectively pay more than $1.2 billion in taxes each year. Significantly, around 40% of our members are small and medium sized companies.

The industry proudly produces a broad range of refreshing products to suit the taste buds of every Australian, including carbonated regular and diet soft drinks, energy drinks, sports and isotonic drinks, bottled and packaged waters, fruit juice and fruit drinks, cordials, iced teas, kombuchas, ready-to-drink coffees and flavoured milk.
