With its origins dating back to 1947, the Australian Beverages Council was established to be a proactive and representative body advocating for the non-alcoholic beverage industry and its suppliers. Today, that heritage continues.

We provide a significant unified position on numerous issues including marketing and advertising regulations, labelling reviews, dietary guidelines, consumer choice, environment management and sustainability, container deposit schemes, health and nutrition information, water resources, ingredients, taxation and much more.

Our collective voice always reflects logical, evidence-based science and our organisation frequently addresses broad issues affecting the non-alcoholic beverages industry and its suppliers. Industry Service

The Australian Beverages Council provides a suite of relevant member services that help to keep members up-to-date on developing issues, technical and regulatory matters, and operational opportunities.
